With success and rapid implementation on the ground, the HUMAN ACCESS team in Taiz Governorate completed the distribution of the first round of food aid under the Targeted Emergency Food Assistance Project, funded by the World Food Programme (WFP).

The first round of this year targeted 6,945 families in Sala district and 13,305 families in Al-Muzaffar district. The distributed food aid included basic food items that meet the daily needs of families, in order to enhance food security and improve the living conditions of the most vulnerable and poorest groups.

A number of beneficiaries expressed their thanks and gratitude to HUMAN ACCESS and the World Food Programme for this humanitarian support, which addressed their actual needs. They emphasized that they felt extremely happy to receive this support, which saved them from hunger, in challenging circumstances due to the ongoing conflict in Yemen.
